Ceiling Filter

Gradient density structure: It adopts multi-layer gradient densification technology and is mainly used in the coating industry.

Multi-options mesh cover: The air outlet side can be equipped with imported flame-retardant mesh, fabric mesh, or glass fiber mesh as an option.

Cost-effective: High dust capacity, low resistance and low cost.

Description

Ceiling filter mainly uses synthetic fibers such as polyester fibers as its main material, and possesses excellent physical properties, including wrinkle resistance, elasticity, and dimensional stability. It usually adopts a gradient density design, where the fiber density gradually increases toward the direction of pure air. This structure can intercept dust particles of different sizes at different density levels, effectively accommodating more dust.

Product Features

Ceiling Filter is a top-side air intake medium developed for spray booths where incoming air cleanliness and controlled airflow are essential to coating quality.

  • Designed for the Supply-Air Side: Installed above the spraying zone, it intercepts airborne dust before conditioned air enters the booth, helping reduce particulate contamination on freshly coated surfaces.

  • Progressive Fiber Arrangement: The PET media uses a density transition through its thickness, allowing particles to be captured progressively rather than concentrated immediately at the surface.

  • High Particle Retention: With an average gravimetric efficiency of approximately 98%, the material provides dependable removal of coarse airborne particles from incoming booth air.

  • Flexible Installation Options: The air-clean side can be paired with flame-retardant mesh, fabric mesh, or glass-fiber mesh according to equipment design and installation requirements.

  • Suitable for Humid Conditions: With humidity resistance up to 100%RH, the media is suitable for environments where moisture control is an important consideration.

Application Areas

Ceiling Filter is suitable for applications where filtered supply air is required above a coating or finishing area.

  • Automotive Paint Booths: Helps prevent airborne dust from entering the spraying area during vehicle painting and refinishing.

  • Downdraft Spray Booths: Used as an intake filtration layer before clean air moves downward through the working zone.

  • Semi-Downdraft Spray Booths: Suitable for ceiling-mounted air supply systems used in automotive and industrial coating operations.

  • Industrial Spray Painting: Applicable to machinery, metal components, appliances, and other products requiring controlled painting conditions.

  • Furniture Finishing: Helps reduce airborne particles during furniture painting, lacquer application, and surface treatment.

  • Clean Air Supply Systems: Can be used wherever incoming air filtration is required to protect coating quality and maintain a cleaner working environment.
