Product Features
PP Meltblown Filter Cotton is a lightweight filtration substrate produced by converting polypropylene into fine fibers through a meltblown process. Its three-dimensional web provides a large active filtration area within a compact material structure.
Fine-Fiber Filtration: The closely distributed fibers create numerous interception paths for airborne particles, supporting filtration performance down to fine particulate sizes.
Efficiency-to-Resistance Balance: Depending on grade, the material achieves 85% to 99.995% initial efficiency with low pressure drop.
Chemical Compatibility: Polypropylene offers resistance to many acidic and alkaline environments, making the media suitable for filtration systems exposed to chemically challenging air streams.
Lightweight Roll Material: Available in 20, 30, and 35 g/m² grades, with widths up to 1500 mm and roll lengths up to 500 m, it is convenient for downstream converting and filter assembly.
Flexible Filter Construction: The material can be processed into different filtration components where high particle capture and compact media construction are required.
Application Areas
PP Meltblown Filter Cotton is designed for fine particle filtration and can be converted into different air filtration products for commercial, industrial, and specialized applications.
Air Purification Equipment: Used as filtration media in portable air purifiers, air cleaning units, and compact filtration systems.
HVAC Systems: Suitable for air conditioning and ventilation filters that require effective removal of fine airborne particles.
Industrial Air Filtration: Applied in manufacturing facilities, workshops, and production areas where airborne dust and particulate control is required.
Clean Air Equipment: Suitable for filtration stages in equipment designed to improve indoor air cleanliness and reduce particulate contamination.
Automotive Air Filtration: Can be processed into selected vehicle air and cabin filtration components requiring lightweight synthetic media.
Filter Manufacturing: Supplied in roll form for manufacturers producing pleated filters, composite filter structures, and customized filtration products.
